The evolution of engine architecture in aviation. All the power of the renowned Cosmos300, now enhanced by an integrated electronic HUB, synchronized Twin Spark redundancy, and unprecedented industrial standardization. Close collaboration across Vittorazi Motors’ departments has delivered a level of robustness, durability, performance, and safety never before achieved in this engine class.
The electrical circuits are routed through a dedicated printed circuit board (PCB) engineered by Vittorazi. This design minimizes cable lengths between components, completely eliminates loose jumper wires, and eliminates the risk of failures caused by mechanical wear and wire chafing.

The starter motor fuse and main relay are integrated and pre-wired directly on the HUB plate. This makes the system exceptionally compact while ensuring safe operation, protected against any electromagnetic interference or external moisture.

For maximum operational safety, a single stop button on the throttle control simultaneously disables both the primary and secondary ignition systems, ensuring immediate, safe engine shutdown without backfiring.

The Cosmos 300 HUB’s Twin Spark ignition system draws direct inspiration from general aviation safety standards. Its architecture is based on two fully independent ignition systems operating in parallel. This architecture now delivers even greater performance, with redesigned components engineered for exceptional consistency and robustness.
DUAL INDEPENDENT IGNITION TECHNOLOGY
Primary System: Operates autonomously using the flywheel magneto, internal stator, and first ignition coil.
Secondary System: Operates independently using an external pickup sensor, a capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) unit, and a second ignition coil.
SHIELDED AND GROUNDED SPARK PLUG LEADS
Unlike the standard production engine, the Cosmos 300 HUB features two specially designed, shielded spark plug leads with directly grounded shielding, eliminating radio interference in the cockpit and improving overall electrical conductivity.
NEW HEAT-RESISTANT STATOR - THERMAL ROBUSTNESS
The new stator has been redesigned using advanced copper wire technology with exceptional thermal resistance, specifically developed to ensure flawless operation even at extremely high operating temperatures. It has successfully completed a rigorous program of laboratory testing, high-temperature bench testing, and final in-flight validation.
NEW CDI - FULL CONSISTENCY
Previously, if the primary ignition system failed, the backup CDI unit allowed continued flight, but with reduced power and performance. The new CDI fully closes this gap with an ignition timing map perfectly synchronized with the primary ignition system. As a result, both independent systems deliver identical engine response and performance in terms of engine speed (RPM), torque delivery, acceleration, and fuel consumption.
The dashboard comes with all necessary electrical connections and wiring, allowing customers to easily install and connect their own components.
Pre-wired for installation of the system power switch.
Dedicated wiring for connecting the starter button.
Pre-wired for manual test switches to verify that each Twin Spark ignition channel is operating correctly before takeoff.
Ready-to-use connections for the engine temperature monitoring instrument.
Signal connection provided for precise monitoring of engine speed during flight.
Pre-wired for a battery voltage monitor and an optional USB charging port for in-flight device charging, with a maximum current draw of 1 A for the USB port.
Every Cosmos 300 HUB is built to last and meet the most stringent quality standards in the aviation and paramotor markets. At Vittorazi Motors, reliability is more than a promise on paper: it is the result of a manufacturing process that is rigorously controlled and repeatable at every stage.
Before leaving the factory, every engine and its integrated HUB electrical system undergo a comprehensive testing procedure. All electronic components follow the same rigorous validation process as the engine’s mechanical components: together, they form a single, fully integrated system.
The HUB architecture and all its components, including the new stator and CDI unit, have been validated through intensive bench fatigue testing and hundreds of hours of flight testing under real-world and extreme operating conditions.
With all electronics now integrated and validated directly at the Vittorazi factory, the entire electrical system and HUB are covered by the Official Vittorazi Warranty of 2 years or 150 flight hours.
The factory pre-wired harness significantly cuts the hours required for initial installation on a frame or trike.
By using standardized, quality-controlled connections on a PCB board, the risk of wiring errors and the related warranty issues tied to the electrical system is eliminated.
Local dealers and schools no longer have to struggle with complex electrical diagnostics or poorly tested custom installations.
Vittorazi provides internationally standardized schematics, diagrams, and manuals. Whatever the need, there is one official point of contact and one global reference schematic, simplifying both diagnostics and spare parts sourcing.
The HUB plate uses a smart Quick Release design. By removing just 4 quick fasteners and unplugging the keyed connectors, the entire HUB electronic module can be separated from the engine body. This allows you to service the mechanical side of the engine without touching, disassembling, or rebuilding the electrical system.
The engine delivers consistently high performance over time and is backed by Vittorazi Motors' global service and dealer network.
