It is the engine that has enabled to achieve the most important objectives over the years, the engine with which various races and championships have been won, record achieved and the most difficult challenges faced.
Striving for excellence
Moster 185 is one of the engines on which Vittorazi has experimented the most: the heart of production for over 10 years, on which much of the company research has focused over the years, raising its level time by time. A few versions and updates have been released that have refined the components of the product, making it increasingly performant, more durable and easier to use.

High level performance
The Moster 185 guarantees important performance: the thrust is regular up to 75 kgs with 125 cms propeller and 78 kgs with 130 cms propeller. The "Soft Starter System" (3S) is also maintained: it’s the manual starting system that allows the engine to be started both in flight and on the ground, with a single pull by using only one hand.

Combustion
Vittorazi's research never stops, in order to guarantee products of high level and exceptional functionality: for this reason in the Moster 185 we have optimized the air flow through the piston, by an accurate study of the racking, and we have also minimized the vibrations produced by the engine, through a careful study of the balance of the crankshaft.
Airbox
Rapidity and high performance: results obtained thanks to the study of the air inlet in the new airbox system, stabilised and able to always offer a prompt restart at any speed, without incertitude even in sudden accelerations. We have optimized also the volumes and fluid dynamics of the airbox system. As a result, consumption has been reduced by 10-15% at cruising speed (5000-6000 rpm) and power delivery is increasingly stable and pleasant. The carburetor filter has a double layer of sponge to separate large and thin powders.
Electric Starter
This extremely compact system is very easy to switch on, thanks to the use of a single button. There is greater freedom to turn the engine off and on again in flight, and the possibility to guarantee maximum manageability to the pilot in all situations, in comfort and safety.
Exhaust
For the addition of a second joint we made a specific study of the profiles. Thorough research has been made to identify its correct positioning, so that it was not subjected to excessive vibrations and the risk of blockage. The manifold has been reinforced with a ‘double rib’ welding system and the new bronze bush has a larger diameter and different materials, which allow for a better flow in the short and long term compared to the previous version, and a duration of 50 hours. The Db-killer greatly reduces the noise emissions.

Il progetto ha tra gli obiettivi: l'ingegnerizzazione e prototipazione esecutiva del nuovo motore, il miglioramento delle caratteristiche prestazionali e tecniche del prodotto, l'industrializzazione del nuovo motore, la promozione del prodotto innovativo e sviluppo della fase di commercializzazione per il nuovo mercato.
Ingegnerizzare, industrializzare e produrre il nuovo motore da proporre a un nuovo settore di clientela, acquisendo una fetta di mercato importante per lo sviluppo dell'impresa.
