Bad Apples 2025 was a real success, from demo flights and the presentation of the new MY25 range to the ever-important V-Check service and the warmth of the American community and beyond.
As Bad Apples 2025 wraps up, the Vittorazi team heads back to Italy with hearts full of energy and satisfaction. Five intense, exciting days immersed in the spirit of the American flying community. The USA never disappoints; every event is a burst of connections, discoveries, and shared passion. But Bad Apples has something extra: a unique blend of energy, enthusiasm, and love for flying that makes it truly special.
You can’t attend Bad Apples without flying, and this year Vittorazi brought the full MY25 range with one goal in mind: to let as many pilots as possible test the new engines. Hands-on experience is essential to feel the true soul of a motor. Thanks to the support of some of the top frame manufacturers like Parajet, Airnest, Flyproducts, Iris, Liberty, and Macfly, dozens of pilots had the chance to fly with MY25. The feedback? Enthusiastic, specific, and incredibly valuable.
At Vittorazi, service is a core value, and once again, the V-Check proved to be a major success. This year, we had the pleasure of working with Texas Paramotor Training, one of the most trusted names in the U.S. paramotor scene, both as a flight school and as a technical support hub. Brett, lead mechanic at Texas Paramotor Training, teamed up with Iulian, Vittorazi technician flown in from Italy. Together they made a dream team, completing 45 V-Checks in just three days. But it’s not just about numbers, the smiles, the positive feedback, the real conversations with pilots, those are what define a successful event. And the V-Check delivered all that, giving us precious data for future improvements.
The MY25 launch was the cherry on top! On Saturday, in a packed tent full of pilots and enthusiasts, Matteo Orazi took the stage alongside Kris Harrington from SkysportsUSA to walk the crowd through the new MY25 lineup. And it wasn’t just technical talk, Matteo shared a personal story that struck a chord with many:
“Twenty years ago, I came to the States with just one engine in a suitcase, full of dreams and unknowns. Today, seeing so many Vittorazi engines flying in this sky, backed by such an incredible community, fills me with emotion and pride.” Matteo Orazi, General Manager of Vittorazi Motors.
It was a heartfelt moment, because every engine carries a story, and every pilot is out there writing a new one. During the presentation, several leading manufacturers offered valuable insights about each engine in the MY25 range and their own frame setups: Tom Prideaux-Brune, Sales & Marketing Director at Parajet, presented the revolutionary and multi-world-champion Moster185 EFI MY25; Neil Weight, experienced mechanic at Aviator, introduced the Moster185 Plus MY25, the most sold and most flown engine in the world; Navid Saleki, Sales Manager at Flyproducts, showcased the lightweight and compact Atom80 MY25, a world-record holder; Leah Catullo, seasoned pilot at Liberty, spoke about the Moster185 Factory-R MY25, a high-performance engine built for excellence; Finally, Kyle Mooney, expert pilot and instructor at One Up Adventures, presented the powerful, record-breaking Cosmos300 MY25.
Seeing the tent packed with pilots was a proud and inspiring moment. For Vittorazi, listening to the community and valuing their feedback is everything. These face-to-face moments make all the difference.
Another highlight of the day? Tucker Gott, who created a buzz with his giveaway of a Nomadic trike equipped with the Cosmos300, the latest model from Aviator, revealed at the event.
The high quality of this fly-in was confirmed by the presence of other top brands like Ozone, Helix and Nvolo, all there to showcase and test their latest products.
A big shout-out goes to the amazing Bad Apples organizers, who every year manage to bring together pilots, builders, and fans from all over the world. This year, over 400 pilots took part, creating a lively, uplifting atmosphere. It’s moments like these that keep the flying spirit alive and help grow the passion for our sport.
A heartfelt thank you to SkysportsUSA and LiteFlite, our official U.S. distributors, for their support during the event and for their continued dedication to the American community.
With all these activities and initiatives, Vittorazi came to Bad Apples to share what it truly means to be “More Than An Engine”: premium products, technical support, service, training, spare parts, a solid partner network, and above all, a strong connection with the community. That’s what makes Vittorazi a truly unique name in the skies.
Now it’s time to head home, with hearts full and bags packed with stories, ready for another season of adventure and sky-high passion.
Let’s rock the sky!
