Powered by Vittorazi engines, Daniel claims the title of World League Cup Champion 2025.
Winning a championship is always a unique emotion. Our pilots know it well, and so do we, as we share every milestone achieved with them. But while standing on the top step of the podium in a single competition is a great source of pride, conquering an overall ranking that reflects an entire season is something even more special.
This is exactly the great satisfaction brought to us by Vittorazi Racing Team pilot Daniel Jones, who secured first place in the World League Cup 2025, a ranking based on the sum of all points obtained in official FAI competitions throughout the year. Specifically, the ranking considers FAI Category 1 and 2 competitions officially listed on the FAI website. For the world ranking, a pilot’s two best scores are counted, while for the national ranking, the three best scores are taken into account.
Thanks to his results at the British Open and the Paramotor Classic World Championship, Daniel accumulated a total of 42 points, reaching the top of the world ranking. This achievement goes beyond a single podium finish: on one hand, it confirms his consistency and talent; on the other, it rewards his ability to challenge himself and maintain top-level performance in different competitive environments.
All of this becomes even more significant considering that Daniel’s career did not begin with the goal of competing. This is a passion he discovered over time, gradually evolving into something greater. Today, it is an essential part of the way he experiences flying, something he can no longer do without.
His words clearly reflect both his satisfaction with this result and the energy and passion he continues to invest in his preparation.
What does this victory mean to you? How do you feel?
I’m proud of what I have achieved so far. The victory reinforces that all the time, effort and training are paying off. I still feel like there is much to learn, and this is only the start of being better.
What motivates you to participate in multiple competitions?
Originally, competing was never my intention, but once I tried my first competition, I couldn’t stop. I started with Endurance, then quickly a Classic, and last year, my first Slalom. I love trying something new, and with the friendly and welcoming community at competitions, it makes it so easy to come along and have a go; it’s really given my flying purpose.
How do you manage to participate in multiple championships, even of different types?
I dedicate a lot of my free time to competitions; of course, the different disciplines give different challenges, but that’s what’s fun, it’s always something or somewhere different.
What was the biggest challenge during the 2025 races?
The biggest challenge in 2025 had to be the World Slalom Championships, as it was my first time competing in Slalom. I went with only a few expectations and hopes… Learn a lot & stay dry.
Which 2025 competition did you feel most comfortable in? And the most difficult? Why?
I feel the most comfortable with the Endurance format because it’s the discipline I’ve competed in the most, and usually on home turf.
What is a characteristic that a competition pilot should always have, in your opinion?
The biggest characteristic any competition pilot could learn is the ability to put any bad decision or task behind them and focus on the next one.
Alongside him, the Vittorazi engines that supported him throughout the 2025 season also take their place on the podium. The Moster185 EFI, a technological and innovative gem that fully represents Vittorazi’s DNA, supported Daniel in the British Open and Classic championships, delivering performance perfectly adapted to real-time flying conditions. In the Slalom Championship, Daniel flew with the Moster185 Plus, the result of over a decade of Vittorazi research and development, which once again proved its reliability, versatility, and consistent performance.
The World League Cup doesn’t only reward those who win. It rewards those who participate, who challenge themselves, who grow. It is a ranking that, even before being a result, values the entire sporting journey of a pilot. It encourages participation in as many events as possible and giving one’s best race after race. This is exactly the spirit that makes us proud of our pilots: the desire to improve, the determination to push beyond limits, and a genuine passion for flying. Keep it up!
Let’s rock the sky!
