Daniel Jones’ and James Jensen’s victories confirm the quality of Vittorazi engines, both in competition and in everyday flying.

Last week, we celebrated a remarkable achievement that brought us immense satisfaction: the first FAI Paramotor Endurance Championship in the USA concluded with the victories of Daniel Jones and James Jensen, flying their Vittorazi Moster185 EFI and Moster185 Plus engines.

However, there is another aspect of this result that makes us especially proud and deserves a closer look. It is not only about the final standings, but about the very format of this competition and what it represents to us.

Unlike Slalom and Acro, which are more specialized disciplines, Classic and Endurance competitions are an intensified version of what every pilot experiences during everyday flying.

Bowling and spot landing tasks require the same level of precision needed to land safely in confined areas or handle challenging situations. Navigation tasks reflect what every pilot does when planning a cross-country flight: evaluating timing, navigating, reading the terrain and adapting to changing flying conditions. Economy tasks, meanwhile, put fuel management to the test, a fundamental skill in everyday flying.

This is why pilots do not need a dedicated competition engine. They compete with the very same engine they fly every day.
