BAD APPLES 2024: A TORNADO OF EMOTIONS.

From the preview of the Cosmos300 EFI to V-Check activity and flight tests with the entire lineup of engines. Bad Apples 2024 was a record-breaking edition.

If we had been told in advance what would have happened at Bad Apples 2024, we would not have believed it. We arrived with high expectations, and returned to Italy full of excitement and validation: part of Vittorazi’s heart is all Stars and Stripes. It might also be thanks to the classic warm American hospitality, but we must admit it felt like home.

Bad Apples 2024 was an edition full of twists and turns: a tornado threat and a 24-hour storm; stunning northern lights with enchanting colors that rewarded everyone’s efforts to recover from the storm’s damage; and hundreds of pilots celebrating their shared passion for flying. What a fantastic edition!

Vittorazi Motors wanted to be there at all costs and, along with the assistance and support of its local partners, the company brought its staff directly from Italy, to meet the American pilots and pass on the Vittorazi values in the best possible way.

Many topics were presented: from the display of the prototype of the Cosmos300 featuring the Electronic Fuel Injection technology, to the flight tests with the entire line-up of the latest engine models such as the Moster185 EFI, the Atom80, the Moster185 Plus, and the Factory-R, combined with the best equipment available on the market.

We are standing on the brink of a technological revolution with the introduction of the new Moster185 EFI, a marvel that, thanks to its innovative design, has already secured both U.S. and European patents. It was our pleasure to extend the invitation to our clients to experience this groundbreaking engine firsthand. Also for this reason, the biggest innovation at this event was the Cosmos300 EFI, which represents a true jewel of mechanics, electronics, and technology. Thanks to its features such as twin spark, liquid cooling, centrifugal clutch, counter-rotating shaft, and the integration of Electronic Fuel Injection technology, this record-breaking engine becomes unique and unbeatable for the greatest challenges of paragliding trikes, hang glider trikes, and ultralight aircraft. 

In addition to our engines, we are thrilled to report the record-breaking success of this year’s V-Check activity, held in collaboration with Aviator PPG. As soon as participants realized they could receive a free check-up on their engine, the appointment schedule was fully booked within hours. This resulted in over 70 checks performed by the authorized Vittorazi assistance over three days, despite challenging weather conditions. Our dedicated mechanic, Iulian, worked tirelessly, taking pride in the exceptional service provided. This overwhelming response to the V-Check underscores the importance of regular maintenance and the value pilots place on their equipment care. It also reflects the responsible attitudes and keen interest of the many pilots we had the pleasure of engaging with during the activity.

Witnessing this display of unity and passion in the air was truly inspiring and a testament to the spirit of the PPG world.
