The Atom80 takes center stage, along with an unmissable talk show featuring special guests from the world of paragliding and paramotoring.
September has finally arrived, and after a summer full of successes, Vittorazi Motors is ready to take the field once again for one of the most anticipated events of the year. From September 19 to 22, 2024, we will be present at the 51st edition of Coupe Icare. This event, held annually in St. Hilaire du Touvet-Lumbin, France, is the gathering place for pilots, companies, and flight enthusiasts, in an atmosphere of creativity, imagination, and color. This year too, Vittorazi couldn’t miss the occasion, with an edition full of new features and an unmissable event.
The centerpiece of our booth will be the Atom80, an engine that stands out for its incredible light weight and ease of use. Weighing only 10.4 kg, the Atom80 is designed to provide a comfortable flying experience while minimizing vibration and noise. It is perfect for those who want a quiet and pleasant flight, and thanks to its compactness it is also extremely practical to carry. In fact, the Atom80 fits all the needs of those who want to travel light, providing ease of maintenance and the freedom to fly without complications.
At the Vittorazi booth, you will see the Atom80 mounted on a number of paramotors from our official dealers, who have special offers dedicated to Coupe Icare 2024: Airnest, Evo Aviation, Fly Products, Kangook, MacFly, PAP, Parajet, Scout.
The choice to place this Vittorazi range engine at the center of the event is by no means accidental. Paragliders and paramotors, while sharing many aspects, seem separated by a gap. The Atom80, with its lightness, comfort and compactness, is perfect for bridging this gap and creating a connection between the two disciplines. Hence our concept for the Coupe Icare 2024: “Ride the Gap.” Thanks to its unique features, the Atom80 expands flight opportunities, allowing you to take off in paramotor and gain altitude, and then take advantage of thermals to soar through the air as in paragliding. Moreover, with a paramotor, you don’t have to travel far to reach suitable locations and you don’t have to wait for perfect weather conditions. It is a true bridge between these two worlds, and offers paragliders new opportunities to experience the freedom of flight, with the reliability of a practical, lightweight engine.
We can’t wait to share this vision with all of you through the Vittorazi talk show we’ve organized for Coupe Icare. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, at 11:30 a.m., in our dedicated area, where we will host four prominent names in the world of flight:
– Bicho Carrera, pro paraglider and paramotor pilot
– Emilia Plak, pro paramotor pilot
– Miroslav Svec, paramotor innovator
– Blaise Brogan, pro paraglider and paramotor pilot
These internationally renowned pilots will tell us about their experiences, their approach to these disciplines, and how paramotor can be a natural extension of paragliding to experience the freedom of flight.
Here is a small preview of the topics that will be covered during the talk show:
“With engines like the Atom80, the gap between paragliding and paramotoring has significantly narrowed, making lightweight products such as the Atom 80 highly attractive to paragliding pilots. Paramotoring allows me to fly more often since conditions aren’t always favorable for free-flying paragliding. With a paramotor, I can take advantage of more opportunities, reach new places, fly higher, and fly at sunrise and sunset.” Bicho Carrera.
“Paramotoring started from paragliding but meanwhile developed into a completely different sport. After years of separation between paragliding and paramotoring, there is now time to combine it. Just like sailplanes benefit from a climb assist engine, so can paragliders now. With a little engine attached to a regular paragliding pod harness you can: take off anywhere, practice weak thermals and thermal mapping, extend the thermalling flight by two hours in the morning and by two hours in the evening, and become a better pilot”. Miroslav Svec.
Of course, the Vittorazi booth wouldn’t be complete without an area dedicated to the revolutionary patented Electronic Fuel Injection technology, especially after the recent victory at the 2024 World Paramotor Endurance Championships. At the Vittorazi area, visitors will be able to admire the world champion engine, the Moster185 EFI, and the prototype of the Cosmos300 EFI, which will be on the market in 2025.
Last but certainly not least, the entire Vittorazi engine range will also be on display: from the best-selling Moster185, to the flashy Factory-R, up to the powerful Cosmos300, in both paramotor and ultralight versions.
We are ready to take off with you for this special edition of Coupe Icare 2024! We look forward to seeing you at our booth to share this extraordinary flying experience. Stay tuned on our social media channels for all the updates and surprises we have in store. See you there!
Let’s rock the sky!
