A historic milestone for the paramotor community, proudly supported by Vittorazi Motors.
Earlier this April, during Sun ’n Fun, we announced a landmark event for the paramotor world. Now, the wait is almost over: from August 1–7, 2026, Rough River Lake State Resort Park in Kentucky will host the first FAI Paramotor Endurance Championship in the United States.
The event has been organized by Brennan Michael Morgan, a veteran, passionate paramotor pilot, USPPA instructor, and founder of the nonprofit flight school Freedom Flight Academy. Leah Catullo will be the Championship Director. Making this occasion even more significant, the championship is officially supported by the USPPA and has been recognized as an FAI Category 2 (C2) event, a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication and hard work of Brennan and his team.
The championship will follow the Endurance competition format, which gives pilots greater strategic freedom while demanding exceptional planning skills, longer flying windows, and an especially intense pace. All of these factors place significant stress on both pilots and engines. Combined with high August temperatures, the competition promises to be even more demanding, setting the stage for an exciting and highly challenging event.
Vittorazi Motors is proud to be the official sponsor of the championship and will award a Moster185 Plus engine to the overall winner. Through this commitment, the company reaffirms its dedication to supporting the continued growth and evolution of the paramotor community. From fly-ins to international competitions, from Europe to the United States, Vittorazi continues to provide both financial support and promotional backing for events, projects, and initiatives that contribute to the development of the sport as a whole. That same commitment is reflected in the development of a comprehensive global support network for Vittorazi pilots, a network of dealers, partners, flight schools, and an increasingly widespread technical assistance service. This is our way of thanking the paramotor community and giving back, through our commitment and support, for the trust, passion, and enthusiasm that pilots continue to show us every day.
Throughout the championship, competitors will have access to technical support provided by Vittorazi Motors. Cameron McElwee, technician, pilot, and private instructor, will be on site for the entire event, ensuring that participants receive professional assistance whenever needed. Cameron previously worked alongside the Vittorazi team during Parajam, where he distinguished himself through his expertise, technical skills, and professionalism. His presence will allow pilots to focus entirely on the competition, confident that qualified technical support is always available.
Also taking place at Rough River Lake State Resort Park, from August 3–9, is the third edition of Fly-in at the Falls, the annual gathering organized by Freedom Flight Academy, which attracts hundreds of paramotor enthusiasts each year. Around 300 participants are expected for this year’s edition. For all attendees, Vittorazi Motors will provide its signature V-Check service, performed by Brian Goff, instructor, technician, and a respected figure within the paramotor community. So, also Fly-in participants will be able to enjoy their flights with complete confidence, knowing they can rely on Vittorazi’s technical expertise for their engines.
We would like to thank the USACE/Kentucky Department of Parks, FAI/CIMA, and the USPPA for their invaluable support.
A special thank you goes to Brennan Michael Morgan for the commitment, energy, and passion he brings to this sport. It is thanks to people like him that the paramotor community continues to grow, creating new opportunities for pilots and enthusiasts alike.
See you in Kentucky!
