Mission accomplished! The Green twins established a new record reaching an altitude of 5066 meters above sea level certified by FAI. The Green brothers achieved this goal not only thanks to their courage and determination, but also thanks to several companies which provided them with their technological materials and expertise. Among the supporting companies, Vittorazi Motors has been particularly active. They not only helped in the most difficult moments and in crucial phases, but also set up a new version of Moster 185 Factory, specially designed for this enterprise. When the Green brothers visited the company at the beginning of this year, Vittorazi Motors made available their entire technical staff in order to study, create and test this new motor version. The motor customizations especially affected the carburetor. Vittorazi Motors created a special system allowing an optimal performance at high altitudes where atmospheric pressure is greatly reduced. They also paid particular attention to the fuel. They used a special mix of bioethanol to improve the performance and reduce emissions, safeguarding the environment. The results were surprising. The tests with this fuel are still going on, so its use on Vittorazi Motors engines is not allowed. As for the propulsion, Vittorazi Motors used a propeller E-Props 130 cm. This prototype, tested since 2014, is currently available for sale. The setup of the whole system took several months of work with flight-testing and constant monitoring of all motor parameters (temperature, fuel consumption, climb rate, RPM). Anyway, all efforts have been rewarded with the success of the Green twins."
