Vittorazi Motors claims its 20th consecutive Italian title thanks to Pasquale Biondo and the Moster185 EFI.
Another edition, same location, same result. But with emotions that are always new.
In Castiglione del Lago, Vittorazi Motors wins the Italian Paramotor Championships for the 20th consecutive year with Vittorazi Racing Team pilot Pasquale Biondo, who, flying his Moster185 EFI, claims the title of Italian champion for the 11th time.
Also taking a place on the Open category podium is the young and promising Maxime Diebolt, who finished third, also competing with the Moster185 EFI.
An excellent performance also came from Claudio Villi, who finished 4th in the Open Ranking and 3rd in the National Ranking with the Moster185.
Also worth noting are several outstanding individual performances from athletes who finished outside the podium: Michele Di Matteo, flying the Moster185, won the best navigation task; Elisa Olivieri, with the Atom80, won the best economy task; while Sandro Passeri, with the Moster185 EFI, achieved the best precision task.
In addition to congratulating all the participating pilots, a special thank you goes to competition director Walter Lo Giudice and his staff for their work. Thanks also to Aero Club Trasimeno, to the president of Aero Club d’Italia, Antonello Burchielli, and to the president of the CCSA, Antonio Dentini.
It was not an easy championship. Castiglione del Lago is a fascinating location, but also a very demanding one. The temperature shifts and variable winds that characterize this competition field can put even the most experienced pilots to the test. Making everything even more complex was a week of very high daytime temperatures, with the heat affecting concentration, energy levels, and the overall management of the competition. Despite this, the pilots completed as many as 17 tasks, a truly remarkable number that required great endurance.
In such a demanding context, every detail counts: planning, pilot skill, and, of course, engine reliability become decisive elements.
The result achieved by the Moster185 EFI fills us with pride because it comes in a championship where external variables represented a major challenge. And this is precisely where EFI technology can support pilots in the best possible way: the control unit self-adjusts according to external conditions, allowing the pilot to adapt the engine based on the needs of the moment.
When the weather changes, the heat takes its toll, and tasks follow one after another, flying with an engine capable of delivering consistency becomes not only a major technical advantage, but also a source of confidence. It allows pilots to focus fully on the race, knowing they have a reliable and high-performing engine on their shoulders.
This was our goal, and seeing two Moster185 EFI engines on the podium confirms the path we began years ago.
What makes the Moster185 EFI unique? Surely, winning a championship like this is already a valid answer to that question. But there is much more. EFI technology brings a different way of experiencing the relationship with one’s engine into the world of paramotoring. The logic changes, the habits change, the expectations change, and the performance changes. In its more recreational use, EFI technology allows the pilot, thanks to automatic carburation and safety and warning systems, to fully enjoy the flight experience. On the other hand, when pushing performance to the limit, as in competitions or in more extreme flights, EFI technology makes it possible to create a true dialogue and interaction with one’s engine. EFI is the key to understanding your engine: knowing its performance in real time and being able to intervene. Depending on how each pilot experiences their passion, EFI technology often proves to be the right answer to every need. Completing the answer to the initial question is the possibility of downloading telemetry data, which is fundamental for diagnostics at an unprecedented level.
EFI technology, patented by Vittorazi Motors and the only “native” technology in the paramotor world, should be experienced as an opportunity, a possibility. Many of our pilots love their Vittorazi engine. Ask Agata Lanz to leave behind her Atom80. Ask Rob Condella to part with his Factory-R. Ask Red Bull pilots such as Horacio Llorens and Tom de Dorlodot to stop flying with the Moster185. The Moster185 EFI is not the replacement of a system, but the answer to a different need, to a different way of experiencing flight. A different alternative.
Whether you are a world paramotor champion like Pasquale Biondo or a flying enthusiast taking your first approach to the sport, Vittorazi Motors always has an answer to your needs.
Let’s rock the sky!
