The French Paramotor Championship took place from 10 to 16 July 2021 in Mondreville, in Northern France. For the first time in history, an entire racing team was equipped with a new and innovative engine, the Moster 185 with EFI technology, an acronym for Electronic Fuel Injection.
A courageous decision made possible by the tenacity with which the company worked on this innovative project.

All the official pilots of the Vittorazi Racing Team trained for a long time before the race to fine-tune the engines and to get to know their second pilot. That’s right. The engine is equipped with a software that regulates a series of functions that are normally the responsibility of the pilot alongside him just like a perfect assistant would do. For example, it proceeds to optimize performance by automatically adapting to environmental conditions such as pressure, temperature or humidity when changing altitude, allowing it to stay focused only on flying.
The Championship was characterized by bad weather, lots of rain and strong wind but our pilots – Julien, Nicolas, Ramon, Sandro and Pasquale – competed throughout the championship with the Moster 185 EFI, pushing the engine beyond all limits and exceeding ours expectations. “An engine of great reliability, no mechanical or electronic problems, no parts changed, only control interventions”, these are the few words snatched from one of the Vittorazi engineers who provided assistance throughout the championship. Our team of technicians and engineers who assisted the pilots on the field is very satisfied and has returned home with a lot of know-how and is already thinking about the evolutions for the next international championship.
…but here’s how the French paramotor Championship took place.
Our engineers, the only ones present on the Mondreville field, arrived earlier than the start of the race to set up the base camp, to keep the team spirit high by supporting the pilots and giving constant assistance to the engines.
In the first two days, the weather conditions allowed, albeit with difficulty, to fly, managing to complete 4 tasks for the over 30 pilots in the race.
After two days of wind and rain, the race resumed and the pilots took to the field against the strongest champions in the world, bringing home results that made us proud.
Pasquale Biondo, the 6-time Italian champion, conquers the podium with a well-deserved third place and a score of 130.3 just a few points behind the second in the standings. Jean-Emile Oulha with traditional Moster 185 is fourth, the sixth and seventh position go respectively to Nicolas Aubert and Julien Meyer while the Italian pilot Sandro Passeri is ninth and Ramon Morillas eleventh.
A double victory for Vittorazi, the first to equip all the pilots with a unique engine in the world that shone in terms of reliability and performance, the second because in addition to the honor of the podium there were brilliant placings.
The Moster 185 EFI has just been born and already offers great satisfaction.
